The Department of Environment and Natural Resources-Biodiversity Management Bureau (DENR-BMB) led the national celebration of the International Day for Biological Diversity this May 22, 2024 with the theme “Be Part of the Plan”.
The IDBD celebration co-organized by BMB and the USAID-SIBOL Project was held the the Mind Museum in Taguig City attended by biodiversity partners and stakeholders from various organizations. Representatives from the ASEAN Center for Biodiversity(ACB), USAID and UNDP relayed their message of support while DENR Undersecretary Ernesto D. Adobo Jr, relayed the Keynote Message of DENR Secretary Maria Antonia Yulo-Loyzaga.
One of the highlights of the event is presentation of the Sukat ng Kalikasan (SnK) and the turn-over of the Sukat ng Kalikasan Toolkit by the representatives of SIBOL Project.
