To achieve its 2040 vision of “Biodiversity is restored and rehabilitated, valued, effectively managed and secured, maintaining ecosystem services to sustain healthy resilient Filipino communities and delivering benefits to all“, the Philippines has developed a PBSAP Framework resulting from series of consultations with biodiversity experts from different sectors. The framework identified conservations strategies and actions to achieve the 2030 targets. The 2040 vision is aimed to be achieved through the following identified outcomes: reduced threats to biodiversity, resilient ecosystems and improved human well-being.
