The Biodiversity Management Bureau of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources spearheads the conduct of series of Consultation Workshop on the Assessment and Updating of the Philippine Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan (PBSAP) in line with the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (KMGBF). The Visayas-Mindanao cluster leg of the regional consultations was held last August 14 – 18, 2023 in Cebu City. Aside from the regional consultation, series of experts group meeting were also held last 2023.
This 2024, the fourth leg of the Regional Consultation Workshop – Northern Luzon Cluster will be held on 6-8 February 2024 in Clarkfield, Angeles City, Pampanga, where experts and representatives from various sectors are expected to attend.
