The PBSAP 2024-2040 (3rd iteration) aligned with the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (KM-GBF) will be officially launched as part of the 32nd Philippine Biodiversity Symposium this August 12-15, 2025 in Ilo-Ilo. Assistant Director Mariglo Rosaida I. Laririt will lead the BMB representatives in the Symposium.
After the launching, a series of cluster consultation workshops will also follow. The objectives of the series of consultations are the following 1)Cascading of the PBSAP and DENR Administrative Order No.2025-23 2) Preparation of the 7th National Report to the Convention on Biological Diversity and review of the ENIPAS Act OF 2018 (RA 11038).
