Registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission on January 15, 1992, FPE is considered the largest Philippine grant-making institution outside of government for the environment and sustainable development. It was organized to help reverse the rapid destruction of the Philippine natural resource base through a strategic and integrated conservation program.
