The PBSAP 2024-2040 (3rd iteration) aligned with the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (KM-GBF) was officially launched as part of the 32nd Philippine Biodiversity Symposium last August 12-15, 2025 in Ilo-Ilo. Assistant Director Mariglo Rosaida I. Laririt led the BMB representatives in the Symposium.
After the launching, series of cluster consultation workshops will also follow. The objectives of the series of consultations are the following 1)Cascading of the PBSAP and DENR Administrative Order No.2025-23 2) Preparation of the 7th National Report to the Convention on Biological Diversity and review of the ENIPAS Act OF 2018 (RA 11038).
